Iris Van Herpen Fall/Winter 2014

The artist Lawrence Malstaf, a specialist in the interaction between biology and physicality, collaborated with Iris Van Herpen on an installation that had models suspended in the air in what looked like oversized plastic bags with accordion shaped hoses running down the sides.

The collection itself consisted of a mix of couture and ready to wear some with 3-D printing in collaboration with Julia Koerner who created a kinetic dress which dances as it amplifies the bodies movements.

The molded boots were from Iris’s long standing collaboration with United Nude. Breathtakingly beautiful, futuristic and extremely wearable.
